Fod, this is for you so you better acknowledge it!

I wish I could say that I had a life thus I wasn't updating, but the sad truth is, there's nothing to really update about. Just schooling, working and gymming, day in, day out...It's pretty much a massive bore. This Friday night however should be SPECTACULAR because then I could get nice and toasty drunk with my chiquitas...hooray!

T-Minus 3 months about about 3 weeks until the big PLUNGE...I'm really excited, except I desperately need a job. Can someone hook a sista up?? I could really use the help. The need is dire, my friends, I am officially going to be responsible for part of a household's income. A household...my own household!!! How insane...Anyway we will be still living at good ole Chelsea Tower for a little while (where else would we get rent for $1200 a month for such a fantastic location?!). Invitations will be mailed out in about a month and a half, so if the address I have for you now isn't the address where you'll be then, please let me know. Ta.

I am now sitting boredly at work. There's noone here, so I'm making up things to do so I can earn some money. Goodness knows, I need it.

and oh yes, T-minus 5 weeks until classes are over. Sweet as.

Sad: Spending Saturday night playing Harry Potter Scene it with my sister, while trying not to wake up my sleeping 1 year old nephew....and loving it.

Sadder: Watching Power Rangers Mystic Force and enjoying it...because it's filmed in New Zealand, and there's a guy with a Kiwi-esque accent in it.

I hate the weather in Frostburg. It's so windy and cold! Everything else seems to be going well though. Do you ever feel like you're just going through the motions and it's just all efficiently coming together and going along as planned? That's kind of what it feels like. Not necessarily fun or exciting, but I don't have much to complain about. Other than body sculpting class kicked my ass, and I am sick AGAIN.

In super happy news though, Pat is supposed to visit this weekend with the boys. They do everything with

quality and are devoted and loyal friends and

employers/employees. Whatever or whomever

they commit to are their sole (and soul)

focus. They love to serve and will give

freely of themselves in order to nurture

others lives.

BLUES, however, do need to be understood. They have

distinct preferences and occasionally the

somewhat controlling (but always fair)

personality of a confident leader. They enjoy sharing meaningful

moments in conversation as well as

remembering special life events (i.e.,

birthdays and anniversaries). BLUES are

dependable, thoughtful, nurturing, and can

also be self-righteous, a bit worry-prone,

and emotionally intense. They are like

sainted pit-bulls who never let go of

something once they are committed. When you

deal with a BLUE, be sincere, make an effort

to truly understand them, and truly

appreciate them.

What Color Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

Interesting...

So maybe I haven't updated in just about forever, but I've been around. It's not that I have a life or anything, I just find myself addicted to other things like sudoku...and sleep.

Not much new has been coming my way which could be the reason for my lack of updates...I finished out last semester pretty well, with 2 A's, 2 B's. Tomorrow I start my FINAL semester at FSU (yessss) and I just can't wait to be done! This semester, I am taking Film in American Culture, Advanced Video Production, Basic Portuguese, Journalistic Writing and Computer Graphics. I really packed it on, yeah?

I visited my mom in Brazil over winter break, which was fantastic! I miss her ever so much, and kind of wish I could go back, hm, right now, but she'll be up here on the 30th of June for my wedding - hooray! Over winter break, I have also been sick twice, been to the hospital once, and also had my veins mutilated by a jerk of a nurse on the same night. But all is well, I'm getting better now :)

Wedding is in 6 months, and as far as that goes, I can't wait :)

A year ago, I was getting ready to go on a journey that changed my entire life - and I met people I couldn't live without. I'm feeling nostalgic, but very happy at the same time. Hooray for Enzed and the Australearn Crew! :)

That is my update for now...Kade, I hope it is enough for now :) I prmise to update more often from now on.

PS - Kade, I had a dream I was shopping for shoes with you. It was quite fun :)

This weekend is bound to be incredible. I am driving up to Massachusetts with my loverly Unicomm roomie, miss Elisabeth, to visit miss Lori and miss Jessminda. I'm so psyched! Lately I've been in a total slump, and I think I'm letting New Zealand totally depress me (how does that work?!) so I really think this weekend will recharge me and let me see it all as a GOOD experience instead of turning it bad (i.e. constantly comparing it to Frostburg - there IS no comparison, so I need to stop).

This week felt like it was the beginning of a good part in my life. I began my pre-marital counseling, which I think will me an incredible experience for both Josh and myself. I left feeling very content and (sorry to be so sappy) so very much in love. I think that once this mid-semester bullshit is over, I may be able to just take charge of life again. I'm feeling very, very anxious about the next week or so, only because I have so much work that needs to be done, but once I'm through with that, I think I will be able to take a breather.

I'm feeling very positive. :)

So I'm back at Frostburg. The internship ended last Tuesday, thankfully. It was alright, it was just strenuous waking up at 4AM every morning. My last day, the girl from MCO took me to Rocky's for pizza, and it was great. I tried habanero pepper, NO THANKS...too much for me.

Our apartment here is cute, a short walk to campus, although I wish it had AC, I heart my roomie and things are startng off pretty well. I hear that my photography teacher is a dickhead, so let's hope that I can handle that. I really want to take one last photo class, but apparently this guy thinks that he's the best thing since sliced bread. I hate teachers like that.

I've bought my wedding dress, and I realized that the time until the wedding is going to go by really quickly. It feels like I was just talking about "It's only a year away!" and now it's already basically 11 months away. I'm excited!

I got a phone call the other night from Matty...and talked to Jenn, Elysia, Jackie, Blake and Lori. SIGH. I was so jealous but it made my freaking MONTH to hear from all of them. I miss everyone so much!

Here's to good ole Welly Pie and the 5 months that changed my life :) And to Frostburg, for being a good constant to come back to (some things just never change...)

And yes, Jessminda...we are very lucky...

I DONT KNOOOOOOW.... WHY DOES LOVE DO THIS TO ME...

It makes me sad to know that my friends need me and I can't be there for them because all I do is work and sleep and stalk baskin robbins for smoothies. Kayfod I love you!

This internship is almost over and all I can say is thank goodness that I am living with Laura. Her and Cindy have been my saving graces. Sighhh. 205 hours are completed. I can't even believe it...

I have random spurts of uber homesickness for NZ and it's so pathetic. I'm so ready to be over this, and just take my experience and move on...but if you're reading this, you probably know me well enough to know I have a hard time just moving on. I google earthed NZ the other day and went from Taupo to Napier to Taranaki, to Wellington, to Cape Palliser, to the Cantebury Plains, to Mt Cook, to Manapouri and Te Anau, and to the Glaciers....basically my four months is a nutshell.

I can't wait for spring break 2006...

It's my least favourite day of the week, a Monday, and it's 7AM no less. Ugh. This weekend, I must say, was absolutely wonderful! I have two wedding dresses in mind in which I LOVE, I should be buying one within the next month or so (how frightening). Super special thanks to Tawn for helping me out. I couldnt ask for a better maid of honour! The bday bashes were wonderful, I love breaking it down with my girls like it aint no thang and drinking fuzzy navels in the hot tub for hours on end. Happy birthday one last time ladies, I love you. Great weekend, indeed.

Now it's back to the damn internship, which I love, but at the same time hate because of the hour. I barely kept my eyes open during the early show, which is sad because I was TO and had I truly falled asleep, I would have screwed up big-big. Thankfully, I only dozed off a little bit instead of actually SLEEPING, and now I am making coffee in order to make it through the rest of the day.

I can't wait to get home to nap :)

162 Hours Completed
78 Hours To Go (not bad at all!)

So here I am, 7:40 AM and a good 2 and a half hours into my work day at WHAG. Not too bad, I'm having more fun but I think the exhaustion totally hit me today and I could NOT keep my eyes open before the 5:30. Sigh. I'm going home after work and sleeping for a good two hours.

I just want to say that being at the beach this weekend with my favorite whores ever was awesome, I only wish it had been longer.
So as of today I work the 5AM shift at WHAG. What this means is that I have to get up at 4AM, get to the station at 5, help out with the 5:30, the 6, the break-ins (updates), the nooncast, and then I'm free to go home at 1. Yeah it's awesome getting off of work at 1, but it sucks ASS to wake up at 4.

I got my ring back and it's white gold and it makes me happy. Yayyyy.

Friday I became a BRACEFACE and I look like a total doofus now (especially considering they couldn't put a bracket on my fake tooth - hahaha).
And poo on that. I was just telling Laura and Cindy today that I really enjoyed my major UNTIL I started working full time. Man oh man, can it be shit. Maybe once I actually start doing stuff I'll actually enjoy it I'm SICK of observing though.

Jess (Dunlop), 2 things made me think of you in the past week. #1 is that I went to the O's/Red Sox game on Friday night to watch us get our butts kicked *sigh* but I was grateful at least it wasn't the Yankees. I went w/ Laura tho (the Yankees fan), and let me say we were severely outnumbered by Sox fans. Although it was a fun game, it was really sad to see a lack of hometown support going on. Sigh. #2 is that I was rummaging through some stuff at work today and I found air freshener that had NO CFCs (wait is that right?? you know what I mean!) Anyways, I actually knew what that meant, all thanks to you!!!

Anyway, I think this post was mostly directed to Jess. 3 more days of work, 1 set of braces and 1 WONDEROUS HP book to go before the week is over. Along with 3 must see movies (Wedding Crashes, Chocolate Factory and Hustle and Flow). Something tells me I will definitely have to update this weekend.

Lots of love from the HTown (Which I just recently learned is really Fairplay, and not Hagerstown at all, but that's ok...I'm used to being lied to...hahahahaha)
